We are a locally owned family run business with over 40 years experience in the industry.

Due to us not being aligned to a mechanical workshop we can offer an independent & non-biased safety inspection.

We make it simple by offering a mobile service with most bookings carried out on the same day. We come to your home or workplace - saving permits and towing fees.

This service also eliminates the possible risk of driving an unsafe vehicle.

SERVICES

All certificates are submitted online and carried out to The Department of Transport and Main Roads regulations under the Approved Inspection Station Scheme.

WE COME TO YOU!

  • CARS

    Safety certificates for all cars up to 4.5 tonne GVM.
    Certificate of inspection (CL) certificates for Uber & Taxis.

  • TRUCKS

    Certificate of inspection for registration.
    Includes all trucks, buses & mobile homes up to 16,000kg GVM (gross vehicle mass).

  • TRAILERS

    Safety certificates for all trailers from 750kg to 10,000kg ATM (aggregate trailer mass).
    Including caravans, camper trailers, car trailers, horse floats & goosenecks.

  • MOTORBIKES

    Safety certificates for all motorbikes and scooters.

  • HVRAS

    (Heavy Vehicle Registration Assessment Scheme)

    Inspect and measure vehicles of more than 4.5 tonne (GVM) and trailers of more than 750kg (ATM) prior to registration to ensure they comply.

FAQ

  • They are the same with roadworthy being the old term used.

  • Safety certificates are for light vehicles and certificate of inspections are for heavy trailers over 3500kg ATM & trucks over 4500kg GVM.

  • A safety certificate is required to register an un-registered vehicle, transfer registration between owners, transfer interstate to Queensland.

    A certificate of inspection is an annual requirement for ride shares, heavy trailers and trucks to renew registration, transfer ownership/interstate.

  • Private Sales – 2 months or 2000km

    Licensed Motor Dealers – 3 months or 1000km

  • All unregistered trailers over 750kg (ATM) and vehicles over 4500kg (GVM) require a HVRAS certificate before registration to ensure they comply with dimensional limitations, approved load sharing axle systems guidelines, safe tyre limits and vehicle identifiers e.g., engine number, vin number & chassis number.
